another easy way to kill legendary animals is with a spear and the combination of light attack and dodge because it creates that spartan jump with the spear and you are constantly keeping your distance from the animal while dealing damage

use explosive arrows in battles and also hunter specific abilities, that way you kill A LOT MORE SOLDIERS and no one can come near you and deal damage because the explosions send them flying in the air😂😂😂😂

you can kill all the legendary animals easily with the help of Phobos (just enter the fight mounted) lock onto your target and keep shooting arrows while running in circles until it's dead :)) if you have a tamed alpha animal boosted with the 50% more damage and 100% more life engraving, that's even better

I'm only level 26 now but so far had little problems winning naval battles. It seems I badly need to replace my crappy lieutenants though. I quickly invested into the hull, got four lieutenants and thus they're all pretty crappy. I need to kidnap me some polemarch. :-D

How do you get the 2% chance to deal 25% assassin damage on melee hit engraving?

i have used this set before but my second weapon is Time Harvester (the free warrior spear at the start of the game) it has amazing stat, warrior damage, spear damage, and crit damage plus i engraved it with 100% all damage but 25% health cap. I engraved 30% armor penetration in my spartan javelin, 50% crit damage in bow, 20% crit chance while full health in my head, 100% crit damage while full health in arm, 50% crit damage in body, and another 20% crit chance in leg. It may not be 100% damage resistant build but stiull very tanky with 100%mellee resistamnce at 45% range resistance . Can one hit assasinate mercinaries and can easily kill bosses.

Hi there! I know Im extremely late to this build but, I like to mix up bows and melee and that 25% health cap engraving makes me nervous. Is it absolutely mandatory to deal good damage? Im only level 21 anyway and excitedly bought the Odysseus pack and have been looking for a good build for it

All you really need to do is focus on tearing through the story to get "the good ending" and you'll get the best LTs in the game.

I realise this is an old thread, but i have only recently started playing AC Odyssey. Now forgive me if i am wrong, but it seems once you have collected the armour set and learnt the engraving, isn't it better to inscribe it onto a purple armour piece and replace all your other armour with purple pieces, giving you the set benefit and 4 free engraving slots to do with as you like ?
